Opens North American Office in Clarkston, MIDate Posted: August 11, 2010 JMP Engineering, Ltd., a New Zealand-based systems solution provider and manufacturer of robotic palletizing and packaging equipment, has announced the opening of a new office in Clarkston, MI, servicing their rapidly growing North American market. The opening of this location is a direct indication of JMP’s commitment to supporting their current and future customers in the region. “Over the last few years, we have installed nearly one hundred robotic palletizing systems in North America, our growth in the region has been phenomenal,” commented Michael Thornton, Managing Director of JMP Engineering, Ltd. “Opening an office there was an easy decision.” JMP has sold over 340 Robotic palletizing systems worldwide servicing a variety of industries. Systems can be found in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Fiji, Malaysia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Dubai, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. The ability to design, engineer, manufacture, integrate and install; stretch wrappers, pallet dispensers, conveyors, robotic grippers, electrical panels, tooling, safety guarding, as well as other key system components, enables JMP a unique competitive advantage since equipment design and costs can be closely monitored. In addition, customized components and product innovations are commonplace due to the close relationship between system design, engineering, and manufacturing. JMP Engineering’s recent commitment and focus on the North America market have not gone unnoticed.
