The IAOM Mideast and Africa District had another terrific meeting in Antalya, Turkey in late October 2009.

The district met all of its goals for attendance and participation.

The Turkish prime minister and two of his top ministers spoke to the audience about the importance of grain and flour milling to Turkey and the world.

The IAOM organizing team in Oman is working with the South African National Chamber of Milling on plans for the 2010 meeting, which is scheduled for Nov. 22-25, 2010, in Cape Town.
