Melinda Farris' Biography

Melinda was promoted to the position of executive vice president in October 2007, after serving as interim executive vice president since June 2007.

She is responsible for implementing board policies, managing the association's overall operations and staff, as well as IAOM’s in-house publications, which include the International Miller, membership directory and website.

Melinda joined IAOM in November 2004 as director of communications, and played a key role in several projects, including formation of the Eurasia District and upgrades to IAOM communications.

Prior to joining IAOM, she was communications manager for the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
