The Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating the theft of approximately 5,000 bushels of grain from a grain elevator near Ogema, SK, Canada.

According to police, the grain was stolen sometime between April 1 and April 22. RCMP said a semi-truck was likely used to remove the grain from a large bin located on a rural property.

The theft was reported to authorities on April 22 and remains under investigation. RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact the Coronach detachment or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.

The value of the stolen grain was not disclosed. The RCMP did not specify the type of grain taken.

Ogema is located about 115 kilometers south of Regina.
