Sherman Economic Development Corporation recently joined Lawrence Equipment for a groundbreaking ceremony at Progress Park in Sherman.
The project represents a $1.3 million investment announced two years ago and will bring a corn-milling production facility to the area.
The new facility is expected to manufacture food products and expand industrial activity at Progress Park as Sherman continues efforts to attract new business development.
