RAYHAWK, an industrial automation technology producer, announced the appointment of William Lambert to its board of directors. Lambert’s appointment brings one of the grain handling industry’s most respected figures to RAYHAWK’s leadership team, including former chair of the board of Ag Growth International (AGI), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of grain handling, conditioning and storage equipment.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bill to the RAYHAWK board,” said Tom Boehm, president and CEO of RAYHAWK. “His experience leading governance at Ag Growth International, one of the world’s preeminent grain processing companies, is exactly the perspective we need as we scale. Bill’s network and deep sector knowledge will be invaluable as RAYHAWK enters its next phase of growth.”

Lambert brings a combination of grain sector expertise and financial acumen to the roll. In addition to his board leadership at AGI, he served as a partner at Birch Hill Equity Partners (TD Capital), a Canadian private equity firm with $1.7 billion in capital under management and a leader in midmarket buyout investment. He currently serves as chair of the board at Vive Crop Protection and has held board positions at Marsulex Inc., BIOX Corp. and Innergex Renewable Energy. He has 22 years of experience in private equity and merchant banking and 10 years in consulting.

“I’m very happy to be joining RAYHAWK at this exciting stage of its development,” Lambert said. “The company has assembled a great team, and its innovative approach offers compelling improvements in worker safety and operational efficiency.”

Lambert’s appointment comes as RAYHAWK’s first U.S. systems enter commissioning and additional U.S. expansion efforts advance.
