The dual-stage air heater is engineered for demanding industrial environments and cold winter conditions. Built entirely from 304 stainless steel, the design includes a weather hood, bird screen, weatherproof and explosion-proof remote-actuated dampers, air filtration and two heating stages using steam.

Air enters through the weather hood, flowing across dampers and into a multi-track filter housing with MERV 8 prefilters, MERV 13 final filters, pressure taps for filter monitoring and gasketed access doors for easier filter replacement. After filtration, air passes through two steam-heating stages before exiting through an ANSI-pattern flange. The first steam stage has a perforated tube-in-tube design to minimize condensate freeze-up. The upstream filter housing and downstream discharge transition have hinged access doors so cores can be inspected without disassembly.
