Omas Industries, a manufacturer of milling technologies and equipment for the grain processing industry based in Italy, has announced a major expansion of its headquarters in Italy as part of a long-term strategy to support continued international growth.
The project, representing an investment of approximately €7.5 million, will double the company’s covered facilities from 6,000 to 12,000 square meters, creating a fully integrated hub that will bring together production, engineering, research and development, and corporate functions under one roof.
Founded in 1966, Omas has established itself as one of the most innovative companies in the milling sector, serving customers in more than 85 countries worldwide. The company currently employs more than 110 professionals and has achieved steady growth in recent years, reaching an annual turnover of approximately €23 million.
The expansion project has been designed to support the company’s next phase of development by increasing operational efficiency, enhancing collaboration across departments and creating additional space for technological innovation.

The new facility will consolidate manufacturing operations, technical offices, research and development activities, and support services into a unified platform specifically designed to accelerate innovation and streamline workflows. The project also will create new opportunities for talent acquisition and workforce development as Omas continues to expand its international activities.
Over the years, Omas has built its reputation through continuous investment in advanced milling technologies, process innovation and high-performance solutions for the food and grain processing industries. Construction activities are currently underway, with completion scheduled for March 2027. Once completed, the expanded headquarters will serve as a central hub for Omas’ global operations, strengthening the company’s competitiveness in international markets and supporting the continued development of innovative solutions for the milling industry worldwide.
