North American Millers' Association Appoints Kim Cooper as Manager of Government Affairs

On Monday, June 3, Ms. Kim Z Cooper joinedNAMA as NAMA’s new Manager of Government Affairs.

In this role, Kim will be working with Dale Nellor Vice President, Government & Technical Affairs, and the rest of the NAMA staff, in developing and implementing NAMA’s public policy agenda, focusing on interactions with Congress, federal agencies, coalitions, and other advocacy organizations and stakeholders to advance NAMA’s mission.

Prior to joining NAMA, Kim was the Manager of Government Affairs & Engagement with the National Head Start Association in Alexandria, VA, and previously served as a Field Organizer and Digital Lead for the Hillary for America presidential campaign in Cleveland, OH and as Government Affairs Associate at Growth Energy.

Kim has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs (double concentration in international environmental resources and global public health) from The George Washington University (Washington, DC).
