USDA Second Quarter 2020 Flour Milling Products Report
USDA, on Aug. 3 released the 2Q 2020 Flour Milling Products Report.
All wheat ground for flour during the second quarter 2020 was 219 million bushels, down 6 percent from the first quarter 2020 grind of 233 million bushels and down 3 percent from the second quarter 2019 grind of 225 million bushels.
Durum wheat ground for flour and semolina production during the second quarter of 2020 totaled 19.4 million bushels, up 12 percent from the first quarter 2020 and up 21 percent from the second quarter 2019.
Rye ground for flour during the second quarter of 2020 was 333 thousand bushels, down 36 percent from the first quarter 2020 and down 20 percent from the second quarter 2019.
