IAOM Launches New Podcast - IAOM First Break: Stories From the Roll Floor

The International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) in mid-September announced a new podcast for grain millers, IAOM First Break: Stories From the Roll Floor, that focuses on industry trends, innovations, challenges, and opportunities.

This monthly podcast will be hosted by Simon Tiedge, director of technical milling at Miller Milling, Minneapolis, MN, who will interview industry veterans and innovators for their stories from the roll floor.

The first 24-minute episode features an interview with IAOM President David Jansen, Siemer Milling Company, Teutoplis, IL, who shares his career path and the importance of each and every tool a miller has available to them.

According to IAOM CEO Melinda Farris, "As an international organization of grain millers and industry suppliers devoted to the advancement of education and training opportunities, we know that experience-sharing is a great way to learn more about the art of milling because everyone faces similar challenges.

"We are certain that millers around the world will be able to not only enjoy listening to the conversations recorded in the podcast," she adds, "but benefit from the information and expertise that is shared in them."
