Ukraine Corn Crop, Export Estimates Cut Due to Dry Weather

APK-Inform expects corn production to decline to 31.8 million metric tons in Ukraine in 2020, despite the record planted area of about 13.6 million acres in its Nov. 20report.

Dry weather in August and September has harmed corn crop in the key regions is the main reason for a decline in production.

The lower crop output will result in a 12% decrease of export potential of Ukrainian corn to 25.2 million metric tons.
