IAOM - Mill Maintenance I Virtual Course Scheduled for March

The International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Mill Maintenance I Course will be offered virtually in March 2021.

Sessions will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over a three-week period starting March 2. Students unable to attend the initial live sessions will have access to the presentations and Q&A on demand through April 16.

Session Schedule: March 2-3, 9-11 a.m.; March 9-10, 9-11 a.m.; March 16-17, 9-11 a.m.

A very full schedule of maintenance topics are planned, including: explosion safety equipment; energy and process auditing; sifters; electric motors; preventative and predictive maintenance and automation.

Presenters will offer the chance for live Q&A sessions in our virtual classroom.

IAOM brings in experts from the industry's equipment manufacturers and suppliers to teach various parts of the course. Presentations will be made by representatives from Ardent Mills, BS&B Safety Systems, General Mills, Interstates, Limble CMMS and Pepper Maintenance.

During a recorded tour of Great Western Mfg., Co., participants will have the opportunity to learn more about sieve and sifter maintenance. Dr. Jeff Gwirtz, JAG Services, will facilitate the course.
