Lenexa, KS – The International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) is pleased to announce the winners of its #125bakestocelebrate contest.
From dozens of entries, the top like-getters on Facebook were voted on by IAOM members around the world. The margin of victory was slim, but three entries prevailed.
- 1st place - Cheryl Dufresne, Great Western Mfg. Co., for the amazing sifter cake.
- 2nd Place - Cake made with soft wheat submitted by REPCO.
- 3rd Place - Janice Underwood, Norvell Company, Inc, for her beautiful focaccia bread art...truly too beautiful to eat.
As you bake this year, please continue to share your creations using the #125bakestocelebrate on Facebook! IAOM will share any submissions and will include them in a special video during the IAOM 125th Anniversary Conference & Expo.
The contest is first of several activities planned for IAOM’s 125th anniversary year. Other activities and events are planned in conjunction with the 125th Anniversary Conference & Expo, as well as various district and region meetings scheduled throughout the year.
