U.S. Wheat Associates' Weekly Harvest Report (July 9): Work Progressing in Eight States

Despite delays due to rain and humidity, HRW harvest is now progressing in eight states, with 188 samples in the lab for testing.

With favorable weather, the SRW harvest is nearly 80% complete, according to the U.S. Wheat Associates' July 9 Weekly Harvest Report.

The Pacific Northwest continues to trend hot and dry as harvest begins on SW winter wheat.

The hard red spring (HRS) wheat continues to mature at a faster than normal pace as the region struggles with prolonged drought.

The northern durum growing region also needs rain.
