USDA Weekly Grains Inspected For Export Report (9/6): Wheat, Corn Inspections Down; Sorghum, Soybeans Up

Total U.S. grains inspected for export decreased on the strength of wheat and corn exports, according to today's Grains Inspected and/or Weighed for Export report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Wheat inspections are at 477,657 metric tons for the week ending Sept.1, down from 631,326 the previous week, while corn inspections are at 518,373 metric tons, down from 689,451 from the previous week.

Soybeans inspections are at 495,895 metric tons, up slightly from last week's 439,811, while sorghum is at 58,242 metric tons, up dramatically from last week's 22,471.
