Dawson Schroeder Joins Great Western Manufacturing as Leader in Training

Great Western Manufacturing, Leavenworth, KS (913-682-2291), an organization founded in 1857, is pleased to welcome Dawson Schroeder, who has taken the role of Leader in Training.

Dawson now becomes the 4^th generation of the Schroeder family at Great Western.

He graduated from Kansas State University in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in Supply Chain Management and Organizational Management.

After graduating, Schroeder began his career working for Ferrellgas.

He completed the Management Development Program in Liberty, MO, then transferred to Statesboro, GA, where he worked as the Logistics Supervisor.

In this position, he forecasted customer demand, analyzed usage to develop delivery schedules, and managed over 20 truck drivers to deliver liquid propane gas across Georgia and South Carolina.

Schroeder moved back to Kansas City after 2 ½ years and continued working remotely for Ferrellgas through the end of 2023.

He purchased his first home in September and now resides in Merriam, KS.

In his free time, he likes to play golf, exercise, travel, hang out with friends, and spend time with his girlfriend and their dog.

He is also an avid sports fan – Chiefs, Royals, and K-State.
