K-State plans milling summer camp for high schoolers

The Kansas State University College of Agriculture is recruiting high school sophomores, juniors and seniors for a four-day summer camp focused on agronomy, grain science and food production. The "Feeding Your Future" camp will immerse students in the departments of agronomy and grain science and industry, with activities including workshops and tours of K-State's feed and flour mills, bake labs, and agronomy research farms. The camp will also include a career night as well as social events like bowling and pizza night. The camp is scheduled for July 16-20; a requested $75 registration fee includes lodging and meals in a residence hall. More about the event and how to apply is here.
